CMC High Speed Hydraulic Power-Lift Transom Jack - MW
T-H Marine CMC High Speed Hydraulic Power-Lift Transom Jack - 5-1/2" Set Back
CMC High Speed Hydraulic Transom Jack is ideal for fresh or salt water use. Made of 6061 T6 alloy aluminum extrusions and fastened with stainless steel fasteners. This transom jack has no welds or castings to break. The CMC Hydraulic Transom Jack has a dependable, self-contained and waterproof hydraulic actuator that has a maximum lifting capacity of 7853 pounds of thrust. You will have no problem lifting even a V-6 300 HP Max motor at full throttle.
The hydraulic actuator in this transom jack is mounted inside the structure of the jack, but is still accessible without removing the engine. There are no hoses contain, and no need to mount a pump and reservoir inside your boat. The hydraulic actuator is completely self-contained with its own fluid reservoir. The cylinder within the actuator has twice the lifting capacity than other transom jacks on the market. Features a no-leak seal and wiper that keeps dirt and water out of the working parts.
CMC Hydraulic Power-Lift Transom Jack's roller design means less friction, longer wear, less maintenance, and virtually no binding problems that are common with other transom jacks. The roller assembly contains a stainless steel 3/4" pin with aluminum-bronze alloy rollers. Rollers are highly impact resistant, corrosive resistant, and have a high load carrying capacity.
Gives 5" of vertical travel with 1-1/2" of adjustment on the motor bracket and 1-1/2" of adjustment on the transom bracket. A total of 8" of possible adjustment.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a transom jack, and what does it do for my boat?
A transom jack mounts between your boat's transom and the outboard motor, allowing you to raise or lower the engine vertically on demand. Running the motor higher reduces underwater drag, which improves top-end speed, fuel efficiency, and hole shot. It also lets you get into shallower water by lifting the lower unit further out of the way. The CMC High Speed version does all of this hydraulically with the push of a button.
What is the difference between the "High Speed" model and the standard CMC Hydraulic Transom Jack?
The High Speed model raises a V6 300 HP motor in approximately 8 seconds, which is twice as fast as the standard PL-65. It's intended for boaters who want to adjust motor height at speed or on the fly, rather than just for pre-run positioning. If rapid adjustment during operation matters to you, the High Speed model is the right choice.
What is the setback on this model, and does that matter?
This is the 5-1/2" setback model, meaning the motor mounts 5-1/2" behind the transom. Setback moves the motor further behind the transom, shifting weight distribution rearward and moving the propulsion point back, which keeps the propeller further from the hull and can improve top-end performance and handling, particularly on performance-oriented or bass-style boats. If you need more setback, CMC also offers a 10" setback version. The vertical travel (5") is the same on both.
What engines is this rated for?
The CMC High Speed Hydraulic Transom Jack is rated for V6 outboards up to 300 HP maximum. It's not for V8 motors or racing applications. If you're running a V8 or a high-horsepower performance engine, a different jack plate rated for higher loads is required.
Does the hydraulic system require external hoses, a pump, or a reservoir inside the boat?
No. The hydraulic actuator is completely self-contained with its own fluid reservoir. It mounts inside the structure of the jack itself. There are no external hoses to route and no separate pump or reservoir to install inside the boat. The actuator is still accessible without removing the engine if service is ever needed.
What hardware is included, and does this come with a gauge?
This model (T-H-65302) does not include a gauge. It does include the hydraulic power-lift unit, wire assembly, up/down toggle switch, and a complete set of stainless steel mounting hardware (4 hex cap screws, 4 hex nuts, 4 lock washers, and 4 flat washers). If you want a built-in gauge to monitor motor height, the 65301 model (sold separately) includes one.
