Mercury Bravo Four S Front 4-Blade Stainless Steel Propeller 8M0167009 is designed for use as the front propeller in a tandem, contra-rotating configuration on a MerCruiser Bravo Four S forward-facing sterndrive. Built for surf boats and tow sport applications, this 25.5" pitch, left-hand rotation prop grips undisturbed water for improved efficiency and handling.
When paired with the rear three-blade prop (sold separately), the contra-rotating configuration generates strong low-speed thrust to move heavy boats and maintain consistent planing speeds. Running a four-blade prop in front of a three-blade prop helps minimize cavitation for smoother, quieter performance. Constructed from premium stainless steel and engineered by Mercury Marine, it delivers durability, corrosion resistance, and precise fit.
